Employee Matching

Through ORIX Foundation, ORIX USA Corporation encourages and supports projects and activities that strengthen the communities in which ORIX USA employees live and work, improve the environment in which ORIX USA does business, and enhance ORIX USA's opportunities to prosper and grow. ORIX USA employees are involved in many charitable organizations, from non-profit hospitals and schools to charities that promote education, emergency aid, and medical research. We are pleased to encourage and support ORIX USA employees’ personal charitable giving through matching donations.

At the request of an employee who has been employed with ORIX USA or affiliate companies for at least 6 months, ORIX Foundation will make matching contributions to a qualified charity as follows:

Match of employee contributions of up to $5,000 per fiscal year to a qualified charity under certain conditions.

Match of up to $5,000 in donations raised by an ORIX USA employee in connection with runs or other sporting events for a qualified charity in which the ORIX USA employee is participating. This match is independent from the match for direct dollar donations by an ORIX USA employee.

A qualified charity is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, that is local or community oriented, demonstrates sound management and financial capability and has material involvement by an ORIX USA employee. ORIX Foundation does not match donations to political organizations or sectarian organizations whose services are limited to one religious group. All matching donations are subject to an annually budgeted maximum amount. ORIX USA employees should consult their employee handbook to review all criteria and procedure for the matching program.
