ORIX EMPLOYEES HELP RAISE FUNDS AND SPIRITS THIS HOLIDAY SEASON FOR CLIENTS OF COMMUNITY PARTNERS OF DALLAS
Each year, employees of ORIX USA help raise money to benefit a charity in the Dallas area and their clients during the holiday season and the rest of the year. During this year’s drive, employees voted overwhelmingly that funds would be used to support Community Partners of Dallas (CPD). Employee contributions coupled with ORIX Foundation matching enabled us to raise an unprecedented $164,556 for our Holiday Drive and CPD. Community Partners of Dallas is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring safety and restoring dignity and hope to abused and neglected children by providing resources and support to the caseworkers of Dallas County Child Protective Services (www.cpdtx.org). This year’s Holiday Drive began on September 16th and ran through December 9th. Thanks to all the firms that gave inkind as well as financial contributions, which were then used to purchase prizes that were ultimately raffled off. Prizes included a Carnival cruise, Ipad 2, Cowboys tickets, a trip for 6 to Barton Creek Resort and much more!

ORIX Foundation Fair on the 39th floor of the Comerica Building from
11:30am - 2:30pm
On September 7th, 2011, 20 charities visited the offices of ORIX USA to talk about the work they each do in the community. The purpose of this event is to give ORIX employees a chance to ask questions directly of charity representatives and to determine if volunteer opportunities are available at any of these agencies. Ultimately, employees also had the chance to “vote” for their favorite charity, which would then be the recipient of funds raised during the ORIX Holiday Drive being held from September 16th through December 9th. This year, Community Partners of Dallas won the most votes, but all of the charities we support are truly winners!
