Dallas CASA

Dallas CASA is a private nonprofit organization that speaks up, through trained volunteers, for abused and neglected children in the court system. Their mission is to guide these children into safe environments where they can love, be loved, laugh and learn. www.dallascasa.org

Vogel Alcove

Since 1987, the Vogel Alcove has been providing free quality child development services to the Dallas area’s youngest victims of poverty: homeless children from six weeks to six years old. www.vogelalcove.org

The Wilkinson Center

The Wilkinson Center transforms the lives of Dallas families by providing pathways to self-sufficiency with dignity and respect. Utilizing a holistic approach, their programs are designed to work with the entire family, empowering them to break the cycle of poverty. www.wilkinsoncenter.org

New Beginning Center

The mission of New Beginning Center is to foster an environment of safety, support and respect for families affected by domestic violence. We do so through crisis intervention, counseling, shelter, education, advocacy, and diverse community partnerships. The vision of New Beginning Center is to promote social change that will lead to the elimination of domestic violence. www.newbeginningcenter.org

The Rotary Club of Dallas’ Dream Team Mentoring and Scholarship Program

Rotarian Mentors called the “Dream Team” give their resources of time and compassion to mentor students in the Dallas area. Others, like ORIX Foundation, participate in the goals and success of the Dream Team through financial donations. This ensures that every Dream Team student accepted to college has the opportunity to attend regardless of their family’s financial situation. Information on the program is here. www.dallasrotary.org

North Texas Food Bank

The North Texas Food Bank passionately pursues a hunger-free community by distributing donated, purchased and prepared foods to children, families and seniors in need. Each month, agency pantries distribute food to more than 50,000 families, and on-site meal programs serve 435,000 meals and snacks. Every dollar donated provides four meals. www.ntfb.org
